Merry Christmas!

The Strouds had a wonderful Christmas!  I always enjoy just being at home with my little family.    The kiddos had matching pajamas (a tradition that Nana started with me when I was little, but I do not get the pajamas now...my kids do....).

Christmas Day was very busy!!  We had to wake the kids up so that we could make sure to make it to church.  We also had Maboo and Pa to come visit to help us get ready.  They came to see what Santa brought and were great help. Some people do not go to church on Christmas Day, but we did......I will never forget that  conversation with my mom growing up when I did not understand why we HAD to go to church on Christmas morning.  She said, "If it was not for Jesus, we would not celebrate Christmas!"  Thank goodness for wonderful Christian parents and the life lessons they taught me and still teach me.  I am thankful for Jesus who came as a humble child so that we might have life eternally.....A baby changes everything......:)

The next morning all the cookies were good.
