December Review.....We have been SUPER busy!!

We have had a very MERRY CHRISTMAS, but I wanted to review our month.  We began our month going on a family trip to Lowe's 

to choose our Christmas tree.  We were so excited to be strapping it to the MINI....ha! ha!

I always said I would not drive a MINIVAN....much less tie things to the top of it!  Who knew being a MOM and DAD  to 3 kids would bring out so much in both of us!!  :) We made it home just fine!

December 1, 2011 was the Piedmont Academy  Christmas Program.

On December 10, Sydney was a Mercer Bear Dancer for a Day.  She had a great time....She now thinks Mercer would be a good choice for college!!  I love for her to have these type of experiences.  It was even fun for mom and dad to get go to a college basketball game.  Mercer won too!

Jarrell Plantation was the field trip destination for Ridge's Kindergarten Class.  I was able to take a day and just be MOM.  I love being able to spend time with each of my children individually so I went with Ridge for the day.  We learned about the history of the Jarrell Plantation, decorated a Christmas tree with handmade ornaments and had a candy cane hunt!  So much FUN!  I love Ms. Julie.  She is the best Kindergarten teacher.  Both Sydney and Ridge adore her!  She loves her kids and it shows!!

December 18th.....THREE WISE MEN and a BABY!!   Our children's choir at Macedonia Baptist Church put on the cutest musical with the best Christmas message!  They all did an awesome job!

Ridge and Sydney were both stars in the show!  Sydney sang a solo and had a speaking part.  Ridge was an awesome choir member.

And I actually completed my second year as one of the directors!  Good times and great memories!

 Throw in several parties, an adult musical, a parade, and many more memories....We have been really busy.  We also started Upward Basketball practice 2 nights a week. I just get tired thinking about it all!!
